Another slew of artists have been announced for the 2014 Big Sound Live festival of music that will run over two nights on September 10 and 11. Big Sound Live runs in conjunction with the annual Big Sound music industry conference and will feature 140 Australian and international artists. With myriad musical styles on offer from a diverse range of performers at a host of venues throughout Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley entertainment precinct, there should be something to please even the most fickle of musical tastes.
The new batch of artists added to the Big Sound bill include the likes of The Church, Art of Sleeping, Jeremy Neale, The Funkoars and many, many more. The full list of newly announced artists is as follows:

This year, Big Sound Live will expand to encompass 14 venues, including live music mainstays such as The Zoo, Ric’s, Black Bear Lodge, Press Club, The Rev, Alhambra Lounge, Coniston Lane and Oh Hello, while The Brightside will feature a special outdoor stage. The festival will also expand to the northern end of the The Valley to take in venues such as The Elephant, Crow Bar, The New Globe Theatre and The Underdog Hotel.
