Woo hoo, the annual Valley Fiesta is on again this weekend, bringing free all-ages music to the streets of The Valley. The three-day event, which kicks off on Friday night (November 22) and continues through to Sunday, will feature music performances and events across multiple stages and venues, all in the name of a good time in Brisbane’s number one entertainment precinct.

The Local Love program gets the party started on Friday night at the Valley Mall stage, showcasing local bands and DJs. Commencing at 5:00pm with The Halls, the bill also features The Gatling Gun, Fox & Fowl, Fever Pitch, Greaves, All Things Lost, Young Franco, The Creases and Fool Proof DJs. Friday night will also feature a Fashion Fiesta with special shopping discounts and offers from participating retail partners along Ann Street and Winn Lane between 5:00pm and 10.00pm.

On Saturday, more than 40 bands and artists will rock three stages: the Valley Mall Stage, Chinatown Mall Stage and the Main Stage, which will be set up in Brunswick Street between McLachlan and Ann Streets. Featuring across the three locations are the likes of Art of Sleeping, The Cairos, Andy Bull, Gold Fields, World’s End Press, Dune Rats and Triple J Unearthed High finalist Tyler Touche, with Melbourne’s Architecture in Helsinki headlining the main stage. Saturday night will also feature the Red Bull Music Academy Rooftop Roller Disco!

Sunday’s daytime program will run from 2:00pm to 7:00pm with events on the Valley and Chinatown mall stages. In conjunction QMUSIC, the Valley Mall Stage celebrates local musical exports and emerging stars in the Queensland Music Award Winners Showcase headlined by Cub Sport, who will have a plaque laid on the Valley Mall walk of fame in their honour. Sunday will also see the Chinatown Mall come alive to celebrate the LGBTI community, with performances from the likes of Paulini and Dan Murphy.

All the public stages of Valley Fiesta are FREE and ALL AGES. For more information about Valley Fiesta, including venue maps and the full line-up of performers, head to the event website or visit them on Facebook.
